1. Who runs this site

This website, www.minterdial.com (the “site”), is run by MYDIAL LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (Companies House number OC430434), with its registered office at North End House, Fitzjames Ave, London W140RZ (“we”, “us”, “our”). Minter Dial is the author of the site’s content.

By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. Using the site

You’re welcome to read, watch and listen to everything here for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t:

use the site in any way that breaks the law or harms others;
try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
introduce viruses or other harmful code, or overload the site;
scrape or copy the site’s content in bulk, including to train AI models, without our written permission.

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time.

3. My content and copyright

Unless stated otherwise, the content on this site, including blog posts, podcast episodes and show notes, videos, images, book excerpts and white papers, is owned by MYDIAL LLP or Minter Dial, or used with permission, and is protected by copyright. Book titles and covers may also belong to my publishers.

You’re welcome to quote short extracts, as long as you credit Minter Dial and link back to the original page. For anything more, such as republishing a full article, translating it, or using my content commercially, please ask first at nminterdial@gmail.com.

Podcast guests keep the rights to their own ideas and words.

4. Comments

This blog is here to promote dialogue and respect among everyone who reads it. Comments that are spam, unnecessarily rude, offensive, defamatory, infringe copyright, are illegal, or are off-topic (including sales pitches) will be removed, with or without notice.

As a commenter, you keep the copyright in what you post. By posting it, you give us permission to display it on the site and to edit or remove it. You’re responsible for what you post. How we handle your comment data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Links, affiliate links and third-party stores

The site links to other websites, including online stores, Substack (where my newsletter, Dialogos, is published), podcast platforms and social networks. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. Their own terms apply once you’re there.

Some links to books are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra.

Books and other products are sold by third parties, such as Amazon and my publishers, and through my own store, The Last Ring Home (thelastringhome.com), which I run through MYDIAL LLP. Each purchase is a contract between you and the seller, under the terms shown where you buy.

6. No professional advice

Everything on this site, including posts, podcasts, videos and white papers, is shared for general information and inspiration. It reflects my views and those of my guests at the time, and it isn’t professional advice (legal, financial, medical, business or otherwise) for your situation. Please take advice from a qualified professional before acting on it. Guests’ opinions are their own.

7. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be complete, up to date or free of errors or interruptions.

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, or from any website we link to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
