Minter Dial is a professional speaker, author and elevator, specialized in leadership, branding and transformation. An agent of change, he’s a three-time entrepreneur, who has exercised twelve different métiers and moved country fifteen times. Minter’s core career stint of 16 years was spent as a top executive at L’Oréal, member of the worldwide Executive Committee for the Professional Products Division. He’s author of the award-winning WWII story, The Last Ring Home (documentary film and book, 2016) as well as two prize-winning business books, Futureproof (2017) and Heartificial Empathy (2019). His latest book on leadership, You Lead, How being yourself makes you a better leader (Kogan Page) launched January 2021. Minter Dial is a professional speaker, storyteller, author, and consultant, specialized in leadership, branding and transformation. Minter, who prides himself in elegantly elevating the debate, has given over 500 talks and seminars to audiences in five continents, including at SXSW, Twitch, Yext, Cision, Netexplo, and Tencent. He was voted Top 3 out of 150 speakers at the Adobe Summit EMEA three years in a row (2014-2015-2016).

He is the author of three award-winning books, The Last Ring Home, A POW’s Lasting Legacy of Courage, Love, and Honor in World War II (2016), Futureproof, How to get your Business Ready for the Next Disruption (co-written with Caleb Storkey and published by Pearson, 2017) and his latest book, Heartificial Empathy, Putting Heart into Business and Artificial Intelligence, which won the Book Excellence Award 2019 in the category of Technology and was finalist for the Business Book Awards 2019. He turned The Last Ring Home into an award-winning documentary film shown nationally on PBS (US), History Hits (UK) and History Channel (A/NZ). His latest book is You Lead, How Being Yourself Makes You A Better Leader (by Kogan Page) which was published in January 2021.

Previously, he enjoyed a 16-year international career at L’Oreal, including being Managing Director Worldwide of Redken, the Canadian subsidiary of the Professional Products Division (PPD) and on the Executive Committee worldwide of the PPD. He also worked at the DLJ investment bank, the Philadelphia Zoo, the NJ State Aquarium and has founded three startups, including a travel agency for entertainers and a high-end handmade leather Gladstone bag maker.

He’s Non-Executive Director at SBT-Human and the ECV School, and previously NED of LastminuteGroup. He’s a renowned blogger and podcaster (in English and French); and he’s passionate about the Grateful Dead, Padel Tennis and languages.
